The 13★ Skull TMGs, スカルフェジサー, are worth getting. Need to bump Ares off the recommended list since Skull is easier to farm and higher damage.… Read More »XH Kuron Means I Need to Update My Guides ._.
PSO2 gearing is not necessarily cryptic, but can be misleading. An 11★ weapon may not be better than an 8★. Similarly, 11★ units might not be better than 7★s either.
This guide will explain what to look out for and how to avoid falling into the costly trap known as Dudu. For starters, here are some of the terms used to refer to PSO2 item stats. Namely, Grind level, Attribute level, Potential, Affixes and Extension level:
Trying out the new Bullet Squall craft. Got -7 PP and +100%ish ATK. It’s an improvement over the old one for mobbing but Add Bullet… Read More »PSO2 SH Desert with Crafted Bullet Squall
I had two problems to solve. One was that I had 24 Fighter Excubes and 600 Gold badges to farm. The second was that I didn’t have a Fighter build for mobbing.
The solution? Slap the Gu/Ra’s Ranger subclass tree on a generic Fighter main tree, grind up a 10★ Arao Slash and make a Gunslasher.
The result was a build that’s surprisingly effective in the Limited Quest, what with it being full of Darkers, and practically every Darker having a free weak point to hit for Ranger’s Weak Hit Advance.
I need to update some older posts for the new skill point quests and 13* weapons. Some quick first impressions though.
Update: This build is outdated after a patch in October 2015 that redid the Braver tree and added titles to grant a 10% damage bonus to main class weapons.
Here’s my take on a hybrid-style Braver, mixing Bullet Bow pew pew with melee presence.
This is the first in a series of posts where I open-source a PSO2 build, the thought process behind it and maybe show some casual gamplay, more blog-style than guide.
Jet Boots are arguably the most unique weapon in the game as far as gameplay goes. They are the only Tech weapon in the game that has Photon Arts. Said Photon Arts are the only ones that scale with TATK by default, yet are considered Striking based. Jet Boots are also the only weapons that can double jump and change their element. To top it off, they have the most elaborate set of Shift button actions in the game.
This part will do its best to explain how all of that is supposed to work.
PSO2.jp has released notes for upcoming balance changes. Here’s what my broken Japanese can gather from Patty and Tea’s information leak.
With Jet Boots’ ability to element switch, one pair of Jet Boots can go a long way. Feel free to get more for specialized uses, but start with one pair for general use.
Here’s a few recommendations for gear sets at different points in the game. All weapons should be grinded to +30 and taken to at least 50% attribute.
