Phantasy Star Online 2 - Fulldive PSO2 Guides

Phantasy Star Online 2 was first launched in Japan in 2012 and was difficult to access if you found yourself in the US or other western countries. Luckily, all that changed in 2020 when Sega released the game internationally. PSO2 is one of the best anime action free-to-play MMO role-playing games available. It won’t appeal to everyone’s tastes since it’s an anime. But for players looking for a friendly PVE, it doesn’t get much better than this. There are nine PSO2 classes, each with its own unique weapons and playing styles.

The fulldive PSO2 guides are there to help new and regular players with things that seem complicated at first like weapons, affixing, and PSO2 classes.

PSO2 New Genesis

If you’re new to Phantasy Star Online, you may be tempted to skip PSO2 and head straight for New Genesis. There’s nothing wrong with this approach since they are two very different games.

New Genesis is not a hub-based MMO. The game delivers a much larger open world with state-of-the-art modern graphics and a clean, straightforward user interface. It’s one of the best action combat anime MMOs and is available on Steam for free. The classes and weapons are unique, giving you the freedom to create your signature playstyle while inflicting plenty of damage during combat.

Finding Your Way in PSO2

In PSO2, you spend the majority of your time aboard a space station of your choosing, also referred to as a ship, which is the central hub of the game. While onboard, you’ll be rationing your time between completing various missions, grinding to upgrade gear, and taking part in mini-games.

Phantasy Star Online 2 is a social game where players are happy to teach other the ropes and hang out in the casino together to discuss gameplay while winning some coins. It’s a popular MMO, which means you’ll never log in and find yourself alone – a feature many MMORPG players will appreciate.

PSO2 Classes and Gameplay Basics

The playable classes in PSO2 are made up of Hunter, Fighter, Ranger, Gunner, Force, Techter, Braver, and Summoner. Switching between the classes is seamless, so there’s no need to focus too much on which class to choose if you’re a new player coming in. Hunter and Fighter classes specialize in close-range combat, Ranger is a firearms expert, Gunner specializes in machine guns, Force is the primary magician, Techter a close-range magic-user, and Summoner has power over pets. Braver and Bouncer are both hybrid classes.

Phantasy Star Online 2 provides exciting ways to engage in combat. You get three weapon slots and can change your active weapon at any time. This gives you way more autonomy than most MMOs. The fulldive PSO2 affixing guides will show you how to improve the stats of endgame items. New weapons and features are constantly introduced and Full dive PSO2 guides are here to help. Welcome aboard the friendly PSO2 community!
